Candle Care & Instructions
For safety and the best possible care of your candle please follow these instructions:
- Trim the wick 1/4 inch before every use. With wooden wicks, simply cut with scissors about 1/4 inch.
- For the first burn, allow the entire top layer of wax to melt.
- Never burn candle longer than 2-3 hours.
- Place the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface away from flammable objects, children and pets before lighting. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- For safety reasons, candles have reached the end of their lifespan when the remaining wax reaches 1/2 inch from the bottom of the vessel and should no longer be burned.
Vessels may be recycled and reused. Remove the wax and metal wick base safely by rinsing in boiling or hot water. Wipe away an excess wax with a paper towel. Enjoy your new storage container!
Due to the nature of handmade goods, some imperfections may occur, such as minor discoloration of the wax, an off-center label, or tiny markings on the outside of the jar.
Please know that none of these imperfections will affect the quality of your candle.
